Frustration. Anxiety. Not good enough.
Those were the feelings that set in our first 5 minutes of homeschooling last week. 🤦♀️
For my middle daughter, school is a challenge. She has said to my husband and I more than once the last couple of weeks: “I’m already bad at first grade, how am I going to be ready for second grade?” 😢
So when we sat down to homeschool all this anxiety bubbled up and spilled over into frustration within the first 5 minutes.
Or I could calmly and peacefully react to her frustration.
I took option 2.
I would love to say I took option 2 because I’m a loving, peaceful parent. But nope I took option 2 because that is the only option that works. I won’t let me daughter give up on school because she’s frustrated. I know she’s smarter than that and deserves the chance to see that.
My dear friend I wonder if you are letting your frustrations seep through your business and choosing option 1 instead of 2.
Are you frustrated by lack of engagement?
Are you frustrated by lack of sales?
Are you frustrated by lack of a plan?
Well sister you have two options:
- You can get frustrated and give up.
- You can keep moving forward because quitting isn’t an option.
Sister, God called your to your business for a reason. To help other women that were you— 3 steps ago! These women need you to pull them out of their frustration. These women need you to show them their is another way. They need you to mentor and guide them to a better life.
Quitting is not an option!
Your frustrations are real and they are valid. However I would encourage you not to let them take root. Second grade is waiting for you and you are going to rock it!
If you are feeling that frustration I would encourage you to go to God with this prayer:
“Jesus, I’m feeling frustrated in my business. I’m not getting the engagement I want. I’m not making the money I want. I’m not making an impact and I’m frustrated. Please Lord help me to stay the course. Please shower my business with your favor and abundance. Please help me to get ready to serve the thousands of women you are sending my way. Thank you for the blessings you are bringing me and thank you for trusting me with them!”
I’m praying for you to stay safe and to keep going! We need you now more than ever!
